Heart of the Shires is pleased to announce that not one, not two, but three new shops have joined our Northamptonshire shopping village!
What’s more, the new additions have come just in time for your summer shopping! We’re sure that you’re keen to find out more about our exciting new openings so let’s dive in, shall we?
New shops
First up, we’ve got The Peace Crane, a shop that offers a range of quality wellbeing and yoga products. In the face of challenging times, the shop aims to restore balance and inner peace in customers with our beautiful range of products. If you need to relax, pop in to find aroma diffusers, fragrant essential oils, meditation and Sanskrit mantra candles, and chakra jewellery and scarves.
If you’re looking to spruce up your house or garden, then we have the perfect new shop. Simply Salvaged Interiors offers contemporary and quirky items. The shop has its own range of unique, upcycled and handmade industrial style furniture and accessories. You will also find a mix of independent traders in store offering vintage, retro and antique collectables.
Finally, we have Barn Eleven, a soft furnishings workroom. The shop creates bespoke, made-to-measure curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. All of the pieces are hand sewn using high quality fabrics and materials. The workroom works in close conjunction with the much-loved Texture Interiors.
Summer shopping

With so much to see and do at our shopping village, it’s the ideal day out in Northamptonshire this summer. At Heart of the Shires, you can avoid the crowds of the city centre and enjoy a quaint shopping experience with independent shops, an attractive environment and a popular restaurant with tea room.
All of our shops are open 10am-5pm daily and we have free parking.
