Our shopping village is an attractive draw for many visitors. But whilst there is plenty to do on our site, we understand that visitors might want to explore other areas of Northamptonshire too – especially if they’ve travelled a distance.

Some might want a day trip to the area while others could turn a trip to Northamptonshire into a romantic weekend away or a long weekend with the kids.

So, once you’ve shopped until you’ve dropped, here are some places nearby to stay and things to do in the area:

Fawsley Hall
Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa

We’re sure you’re aware just how tiring shopping can be, carrying all those new purchases around.  To help you unwind after a long day of shopping, in our neighbouring village is Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, a luxurious country hotel.

The hall was built for entertaining, and over the years, Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and other monarchs have all enjoyed its fine hospitality.

Whether you’re relaxing in the spa or enjoying a feast in their restaurant, high-quality runs throughout the hotel’s core. If you’re staying over, each of the hotel’s 60 bedrooms is filled with its own individual ambience and character.

Althorp House

Althorp House, one of the most beautiful stately homes in England, is just a short drive from our shopping village.

Built in 1508, Althorp House has one of Europe’s finest private collections of furniture, paintings and ceramics. Visitors can explore the house that was once the home of Princess Diana before she joined the Royal Family and enjoy the estate’s extensive grounds (13,000 acres!).

A trip to this stately home is the perfect day out. A picnic can be enjoyed in the gardens before taking a tour of the impressive house and exhibitions. Remember to take your camera!
