We were pleased to hear that a client from our ladies and gentleman’s hair salon will be taking part in a hair-related fundraiser to raise money for the amazing, Little Princess Trust.

Amy Cousins, a regular visitor to Flutterbyes Hair Salon, will be cutting at least 15 inches of her beautiful locks off on Monday 25th September and donating both the hair and money raised to the charity.

The Little Princess Trust is a UK charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children in the country that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. It typically costs between £300 and £500 to make a wig for a child suffering from hair loss due to chemotherapy.

It is through fundraising efforts and hair donations like Amy’s that the charity was able to give away over 1,000 free wigs to sick children last year!

Everyone here at The Heart of the Shires wishes Amy well in her fundraiser and are fully behind the cause. If you would like to donate for Amy’s efforts, visit her JustGiving page here.
