Established in 2011 by Laurence and Alison Spencer and based at the Heart of the Shires shopping village. Offering a large and varied selection of high quality antiques and collectables displayed in 32 cabinets that are occupied by a number of dealers as well as the owners. This is all provided onsite with 2000sq feet of indoor and 1000sq feet of outdoor space.
Included on site are various items including but not limited to vintage and costume jewellery, 18th, 19th and 20th china, glass, silver, a large selection of antique lighting all alongside quality antique furniture and clocks. Shires Antiques offers a bright, fresh display of fine furniture, ceramics, jewellery, glass and collectables.
Outdoor effects include statuary and planters, ironwork, teak furniture, objets d’art and Northamptonshire’s exclusive display of Kadais – Indian Fire Bowls.
As seen on the on the popular BBC antique programme “Antiques Road Trip” which saw Mark Stacey and Mark Hales as the experts that visited and they purchased a pair of military picture frames and a silver plated decanting funnel.
