The Tea Room is located in the courtyard of Heart of the Shires Shopping Village and The Tea Room Too, in the newly extended south side of the site.
This followed a mutually agreed sale of the restaurant ownership in March 2026. The 1867 had been for sale for a couple of years and the owners of Heart of the Shires decided to buy the restaurant. Going forward this is a fantastic move enabling more space (now with two places to eat) and more choice.
Those of you that have been to Heart of the Shires lately will have seen the external and internal changes and thank you all for your lovely comments. The menu is very much the same, just with a few tweaks, so rest assured your favourites are still there – with a few little new additions you may enjoy too. See you soon.
